A: Yes, we have free Wi-Fi for all our guests.

A: Yes, the pool overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is perfect for relaxing.

A: Yes, Castillo Chaluda has direct access from the pool area to a reserved beach area.

Q: Do I need to make a deposit in order to make a reservation?
A: Yes, a minimum deposit of 50% is required in advance of your stay. Full payment is required upon your arrival.
Q: Can I pay with my credit card at Castillo Chaluda?
A: Credit card payment via PayPal can be arranged but there will be a fee added to your bill. We recommend you bring cash.
Q: Can I rent a car at Castillo Chaluda?
A: No, if you intend to rent a vehicle we suggest you do so at the airport. Most major car rental companies are available. Some smaller car rental agencies are “occasionally” also available in neighboring towns Melaque and Barra de Navidad.
Q: Are there English speaking personnel at Castillo Chaluda
A: Yes, the owners of Castillo Chaluda are Canadian and the staff speak some English.
Q: Is there a grocery store near Castillo Chaluda?
A: Yes, there are several small grocery/ convenience stores, as well as a deli, a few minutes walk from Castillo Chaluda. Fresh bread, eggs, fruit and vegetables, chicken, fish and beef are readily available in town.
Q: Are there special “Out of Season” rates?
A: Contact us for current availability and rates. Special arrangements can be made when there are villas available after Easter until October. Keep in mind, though, that the local vacation times coincide with school vacations north of the border, so book early to guarantee availability.
Q: Are the suites equipped with cooking appliances?
A: Yes, each suite has a kitchenette with everything you need.
Q: Will I have to cook?
A: Not at all, there are dozens of local restaurants serving fresh sea food, Italian pizza and even a French restaurant.
Q: Is breakfast included in my rental?
A: No. Excellent breakfast restaurants are only a few minutes’ walk from your accommodations at Castillo Chaluda.
Q: Is there secure parking for my vehicle?
A: Yes, Castillo Chaluda is a fully enclosed compound, all your belongings will be secure.
Q: Are pets allowed at Castillo Chaluda?
A: Only by prior arrangement and depending on size, please contact us before booking.

A: The local area features all water sports, including diving, snorkelling, kayaking, swimming and surfing, kite boarding, jet-skiing, as well as deep sea and shore side fishing, tour companies are available for trips to archeological sites and picturesque inland coffee plantations, villages and much more…
Q: Do the suites at Castillo Chaluda have TV?
A: yes, all suites have flat screen tv’s.
Q: Are children allowed?
A: We can accommodate children after Easter through November. Three of suites have couches that can be made into a bed and can accommodate up to two small children. Addtional fees apply so please contact us when booking.
